The New Generation Of Naturism

If you visited a nudist resort in North America, you probably noticed the membership consists mostly of fortysomethings and above. You might also have asked yourself why the twentysomethings are not present. Various "theories" have surfaced to explain this phenomenon. One points to the fact that all resorts are run by retirees, and that the younger crowd is intimidated by their ways of the days of old. Another suggests that since the young crowd is synonymously knows as "Generation Debt", the twentysomethings lack the financial wherewithal to become members of such resorts, much less to operate a resort of their own. Others simply state that the younger generation is not at all interested in this lifestyle.

We know there are twentysomethings who are interested in this lifestyle. It seems to be a "secret thought" harboured by many, but expressed by few, and pursued by even fewer. We have endeavoured to extend an invitation to those of our generation who felt the same way as we do about this lifestyle, or who simply wanted to inquire about it.

Naturism is characterized by social nudity. It encourages respect for oneself and others, and care for the environment. It embodies freedom, and a unique sense of communion with nature in the purest form. It is therefore associated with an enlightened, holistic approach to nutrition, physical activity, mental functioning, and social interaction.
