What is the FCN?
The Federation of Canadian Naturists (FCN) is Canada's national nudist organization. Along with the Fédération québécoise de naturisme, the FCN represents and promotes the naturist lifestyle as wholesome, healthy, and enjoyable.
What we do...
The FCN publishes a quarterly magazine, called Going Natural / Au naturel, and information brochures. We give seminars and media interviews, and run naturism booths at various major exhibitions. We have affiliations with many Canadian nudist clubs, and close links with other naturist organizations. And we represent Canadian naturism at the congresses of the International Naturist Federation
The Federation of Canadian Naturists (FCN) and the Fédération québécoise de naturisme (FQN) share the Canadian membership in the International Naturist Federation (INF), which has its world headquarters in Horsching, Austria.
Our purpose...
- To provide for naturists an autonomous Canadian organization which shall not be a subjucated part of any other organization.
- To foster belief in the essential wholesomeness of the human body and the health of mind and spirit which grows in those accustomed to see and respect the human body as created.
- To promote optimum health through complete contact of the body with the natural agents of sun, air and water accompanied by a holistic approach to enlightened nutrition, physical activity, mental stimulation and social interaction in an environment kept as freeas possible from the pollutants and stressful components of modern society.
- To establish a greater understanding of the ecology of our environment and of the place, role and responsibilities of the human species within this ecology.
- To share the enjoyment of naturist living with individuals and groups of like interest and together provide a united voice for the expression and extension of social naturism.
- To assist sincere naturist groups in their acquisition of land and facilities for the practice of naturist living.

- For CA$50.00/year ($55 in the USA, $60 elsewhere) you will receive four issues of the magazine Going Natural / Au naturel, the FCN's official magazine since 1986. Every issue is full of naturist news, photos, reviews, trip reports, complete Canadian clubs listing and much more.
- You'll also receive an FCN identification card which gives you reduced day rates at many clubs, both in Canada and in the USA and Europe.Your card also gives you membership in the International Naturist Federation (INF).
- Most importantly, you will know that you are helping in our efforts to get naturism acceptance and growth!
- Subscribers who are Canadian residents and belong to a recognized club or group are also Members who get voting priviledges at our annual general meeting.
- The INF represents naturists in over 30 countries. Founded in August 1953 at the Montalivet naturist resort in France, it is dedicated to the world-wide acceptance of naturist ideals and lifestyle-recreational social nudism. INF organizations from around the world gather every two years in a conference designed to coordinate the efforts to promote naturism around the world.
